July 17, 2008 -- Wonderware announced the expansion of its current partner programs and partner ecosystem with the introduction of the new comprehensive Wonderware Innovation Partner Program. This partner program was developed in response to customer and partner demands for increased collaboration in the delivery of innovative, yet sustainable real-time operations management solutions for a wide range of vertical industries.
With distributors operating in more than 150 countries and a system integrator (SI) network of greater than 3,000 SIs, Wonderware has one of the largest partner ecosystems in the industry, and it is now being expanded by this new program. The Wonderware Innovation Partner Program is focused on enhancing the integrated value, scope and capacity of solutions delivered to customers and is designed to facilitate improved collaboration and in novation among partners and Wonderware. Participation in the program is encouraged across the entire Wonderware solution partner ecosystem which includes leading software and hardware companies, solution providers, SIs and strategic alliances with some of the largest IT, ERP and automation players in the industry.
"Wonderware already has an extensive and capable channel and partner network in this market space, and this program should evolve its ecosystem's capabilities to address an even broader range of operations management solutions for customers," said Craig Resnick, director of manufacturing research at ARC Advisory Group, an industry research firm.
Companies participating in the Wonderware Innovation Partner Program will use the Wonderware System Platform software as the foundation for implementations of customer automation and information projects. Wonderware System Platform, which is built on open, industry standards based-ArchestrA technol ogy, provides a common software environment for Wonderware and partner solutions to achieve management of real-time operations that include HMI, SCADA, MES and EMI applications.
The three relationship tiers in the Wonderware Innovation Partner Program include Registered, Certified and Endorsed, with Endorsed being reserved for the closest business relationships. Endorsed partner offerings are promoted, sold and have first-line support provided by the Wonderware distribution network. Certified and Endorsed members of the new program also benefit from technology sharing, joint marketing and business development, sales support and Wonderware overall knowledge and expertise in the marketplace.

The first partners that have exceeded Registered and Certified requirements, and have been invited to be Wonderware Endorsed Partners, include Kepware Technologies, Software Toolbox and Mtelligence. Kepware, a leader in communications for automation, expands the breadth of Wonderware device communications options. In conjunction with Kepware, Software Toolbox also was selected to provide extended support for Kepware products.

This service is an online collaboration Web site available to all partners and customers participating in the Wonderware Customer First support program, a multi-level software maintenance and support program to help customers receive maximum value from their Wonderware software solutions.
