4 heating zones on barrel, all with air-cooling. each zone is equipped with high efficient air-cooling where copper sheets are mounted below the band heaters ending up in a multitude of fins. these fins catch the cold air and conduct it directly to the barrel. the sirocco type of cooling fans are all mounted in the extruder sub cabinet and connected to each zone with hoses. the large wattage on the band heaters coupled with the efficient cooling system ensures very fast heating and cooling of each zone.

one pressure controller with closed loop regulation of extruder speed. the controller is connected to the pressure transducer at the inlet of the flat die and will control the flow of the resin from the extruder, allowing a precise thickness control of the extruding.

one selector switch with manual and automatic mode. the manual mode is used for starting up the extruder before pressure builds up at the die. when pressure is showing on the indicator, the switch can be turned to automatic mode where the extruder will feed the die with a desired resin flow at a preset pressure value. the manual mode is also used when the extruder is being used for other purposes like compounding etc.

optionally the chill roll line can be equipped with the vented 25 mm, 30 l/d extruder which will enable easy production of moisture sensitive resins such as abs, pet etc without the need for pre drying of the resin. the vented version of our 25 mm extruder has been developed with a special screw design, which ensures very good feeding properties without material bleeding out of the vent. the screw designs has been tested and proven with many different polymers such as ld & hd-pe, pp, ps, abs, nylon, and pet. the features are the same as listed on page 1 for our non-vented version with the following additions:

¨ vented screw design with maddock mixing section at 15 d followed by the decompression and venting zone. the screw at the vent and to the end has double flights for optimum feeding property. the tip of the screw is equipped with split open flanges for additional mixing.

¨ large vent opening made of stainless steel. equipped with stainless steel swing open lid with large polycarbonate window and with pipe connection for eventual vacuum pump. the swing open lid is equipped with rubber seal to give a tight vacuum fit to vent.

¨ built in vane type vacuum pump driven by a 0,3 kw motor and with an air capacity of 6,000 liter per hour. including large inlet filter as well as a vacuum dial gauge and release valve mounted on the top of the extruder barrel behind the vent opening. an on/off se-lector switch mounted on the control panel controls the vane pump, which is mounted in the sub cabinet of the extruder.

¨ thanks to the c-clamp connection to the die, and the casters, the extruder can easily be rolled away from the chill roll line and be used for other applications such as compounding, filter test etc.

1 unit chill roll flat film and sheet attachment

suitable for producing films and sheet in many different resin types such as pe, pp, ps, abs, pvc, pet, pc etc.

適用于如pe，pp，ps，abs，pvc，pet，pc等各種樹脂粒子流延膜擠出。

c-clamp flange on flat film die for easy removal of chill roll attachment as well as changing of screens.

c型夾具可方便與冷輥系統(tǒng)分離或者換網(wǎng)。

flat 250 mm wide sheet die with adjustable lips for sheet thickness from 0.3 to 1.5 mm or film thickness down to 0,01 mm. the die is of a coat hanger type construction with optimum internal flow properties for even melt distribution along the entire die width. all internal parts are hard chromed and have been given a mirror-polished surface. the die is mounted on a stand with casters so that it can easily be removed from the c-clamp on the extruder. (please not that a 250 mm wide die opening will produce a film or sheet with less width since you have a “neck in” effect when you pull out the melted resin from the die before it reaches the surface of the chill roll. the width you can achieve depends on the melt strength of the resin as well as the distance between the die lip opening and the chill roll. but in general, about 80% of the die opening width can be achieved).

pressure sensor with incorporated melt temperature sensor in-serted in the die adaptor near the breaker plate.

壓力傳感器與溫度傳感器整合，置于模頭適配器之中。

sheet and film chill roll attachment for either horizontal or vertical roll stack position. as standard the roll stack is supplied with vertical (upright) roll stack and horizontal extruder die connection. the roll stack can be tilted down to a horizontal position and with this, the die need to be equipped with an optional angled extruder adaptor so that the die will point down against the chill roll. this position is most suitable for production of thin films.

冷輥系統(tǒng)可選擇垂直或水平方向安置。標準方式是垂直方向而擠出模頭是水平方向。同樣冷輥系統(tǒng)可選擇水平方向安置而擠出模頭相應(yīng)為垂直方向（需加配直角適配器）。這種配置方式適合于較薄的薄膜擠出。

with large 145 mm diameter chill roll and additional cooling and polishing rolls. roll widths are all 350 mm. all three rolls are equipped with internal cores for efficient water-cooling and heating, allowing a precise temperature control of roll surface. polishing roll with pneumatic nip opening and closing as well as micrometric fine adjustment of nip-gap with dial gauges for distance readout.

chill roll attachment is mounted on rails and can easily be rolled away from the die and the extruder for access to the die opening.

4 three digital programmable self-tuning temperature controllers for the flat die. the controllers regulate individually the left, center and right side of the die. with this it is possible to obtain a very precise and even film thickness over the entire film or sheet width.

roll drives with variable speed ac geared motors with speed regulation from programmable inverter. the roller stack connected to the chill-roll unit is equipped with a set of take off rollers, rubber nip rolls as well as a windup unit driven by another two individual variable speed ac motors, regulated by programmable inverters. the windup unit is equipped with an adjustable slipping clutch for constant windup torque.

hot and cold water circulating unit, connected to all 3 rolls and with temperature regulation for a maximum temperature of 140 degrees c. valves manually regulates the water flow to the polishing and cooling rolls. the polishing and second cooling rolls can also be individually cooled from your water system. optionally additional water heating and cooling units can be connected to the polishing roll and second cooling roll.
