October 20, 2008 -- Korenix releases the JetNet 3008f, a new generation of the 8-port compact Fast Ethernet switch equipped with 2.0Gbps Packet Switch engine as particular packet forwarding and filtering mechanism to fulfill industrial communications on the filed site. It provides the graceful packet forwarding ability to handle 64~1552 packet size into 2 priority queues which compliance with quality of service for the best data forwarding performance. In addition, for the best network performance both of broadcast storm filtering and flow control functions can ensure data traffic deliver to destination without traffic congestion. To avoid interference as well as to extend network coverage, JetNet 3008f is adapted to 2 100Mbps fiber ports with multi-mode 2KM or single-mode 30KM transceiver in order to achieve stable far-end transmissions.
